LICENSED RN’s
Use a nurse whose license is in good standing and who has been actively practicing medical healthcare. At Heart and Harmony Home & Healthcare Services, RN’s can get a license in another state without repeating steps they have taken – at least not the major ones like education and board examinations. The RN will need to provide license verification from at least one state; some states require verification from every jurisdiction the RN has practiced. If the registered nurse has been out of practice for a significant period of time, the RN may be required to take a refresher course prior to RN licensing in the new state.
LICENSED LPN’s
At Heart and Harmony a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in much of the United States and most Canadian provinces is a nurse who cares for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled. LPNs work under the direction of registered nurses or physicians. Education Requirements, In order to become a practicing LPN, you'll need a high school diploma or GED, and then you'll need to graduate from an accredited LPN program. LPN programs generally include one year of coursework and practical application at a hospital, vocational technical school or community college.
